This collection of essays reflects on the links between intellectual artists and politics, and on the possibilities for artists' actions in the community. Culture is a people's highest visible expression; artists are the most conspicuous representatives and creators of that culture. Sensitive, emotional, full of fighting spirit, intellectual artists form a multi-colored corporation that is governed by unwritten laws: the laws of dreams, of hope, and of the people's collective unconscious they express. To this end, their lives go into weaving the most political of conspiracies: that of forging a Nation that can name itself and listen to the echo of its own destiny.
