At the height of military rule, Laura Sanchez, an elegant young woman of the capital city, with a bohemian past linked to the guerilla movement, receives a phone call: her friend Ana has been kidnapped and killed, and perhaps she too is in danger. The fact that she is married to the son of a powerful businessman –a member of the same upper class segment that promoted the coup d'état– may not be enough to save Laura from a tragic fate. A dark intelligence agent, Ernesto Hartmann, proposes to help her. Laura discovers then the complex web of mysteries that surrounds her life, and she embarks on an adventure worse than the one she had left behind.
